This is our house at Opveld 15 in Amsterdam. We moved here in November of 2001. We left our apartment with the view for one more bedroom and a garden.	This is the side yard/garden. We will be spending most of our time here, weather permitting, during the spring and summer. The grill is around the corner.
This is the back yard. See there is the grill! There are a lot of different bird that visit our feeder. One day we even had a pheasant. There are wild green parrots that fly around the canals behind our house.	This is one of the canals near our house. We are only a 10 minute walk to the Amstel River. There are a lot of great biking and running paths in the area for those interested visitors!
This is the family room where we spend most of our time.	This is a windmill or molen, as it's called in Dutch, on the Amstel river. A family still lives in this windmill, but it is no longer used for production. Each year Holland has a day where all the windmills in the country are put into operation.
