Mom & Dad Keating were our first visitors in March of 2000. We went to Rome for a long weekend. This
is us in front of St. Peter's Basilica. We also got to see Pope John Paul II say an historic mass inside the Basilica.
|

Our next visitors were Mom & Dad Evanovich in April of 2000. We went to the coast of Normandy, France,
site of the D-Day invasion. We stayed in a beautiful town called Deauville where Coco Channel got her start and my mother
lost my inheritance at the casino -- just kidding Ma!

My nieces, Erin & Kelly, and I traveled around Europe for three weeks in June of 2000. We are waiting
for our first train to take us to Paris. We visited cities in Spain, Italy and Switzerland. Poor Uncle Brendan couldn't join
us, but we called him a lot on the phone.

In July 2000, the Keating/Kehoe clan got together to celebrate Uncle Dan's 75th birthday in Kinsale,
Ireland. We had 7 days of the most beautiful weather Ireland has ever seen. We also had some of the best laughs of our lives
with "Captain Johnny" at the helm and "Bailey" at the aft. The guys managed to get in just a few round of golf!

After Ireland, Uncle Dan, Aunt Dee, Cousin Aimee and I went to Paris for a few days. Now, cousin
Aimee should really have an entire page of our web site dedicated to her visits since this coming June will be her 5th time
to Europe to see us! However, this is the only picture we have of her that could be scanned. Since she doesn't remember to
put film in her camera while she is taking pictures, I don't think she will hold it against us.

In September 2000, Mom & Dad Evanovich returned for another visit. This time we were on a mission
to follow in the footsteps of my grandparents and trace the Yakish roots back to Slovenia. Here we at Lake Bled, Slovenia
the home base for our journey. Several of my & Brendan's friends came to join us for the weekend.

My brother, Evan, and his wife, Carolyn, were our bravest visitors. Their visit was during the cold
and rain of February 2001. We went to London for the weekend to celebrate Brendan's birthday and then on to Paris and the
Loire(Chateau)Valley in France. Here they are in front of the Tower Bridge in London.
|

In May 2001, Pat, Brendan's brother, and his wife, Therese came to visit. Here they are in front
of the Eiffel Tower. We spent most of the time in Amsterdam, including Queen's Day. Queen's Day is the annual celebration
of Queen Beatrix's birthday. It's held every year on April 30th. It's like a big garage sale/party around the city. We found
most of the pictures from that day unsuitable for all viewing audiences....hence Paris!
|

My Mom, who is second only to cousin Aimee in number of visits to the Netherlands, and sister, Cheryl
joined us for two weeks in July 2001. Here we are checking out Harry's Bar in Paris. "They" say this is where the original
"bloody Mary" drink originated. Of course, we couldn't resist a little taste test...even my Mom.
